Air Aqua Super UV Amalgam Submersible 105 Watt focuses on the most efficient UV technology: amalgam. Because this type of lamp has become very affordable in a short period of time,  the energy saving achieved and the expected lamp life is such that both the TL and the standard T5 technology become less and less interesting.   The immersed uvc units of Air Aqua consist of 2 sections (transformer and lamp unit) with a plug connection on the transformer.
